Miller Rustic Dining Table

Miller Rustic Dining Table

Above picture is our "in progress" dining room. It is the first room you see when you walk into our home (bottom left pic is me standing with my back to the front door.) Hutch is painted SW Intellectual Gray.

We are a family of 4 with young children (ages 7 and 5.) This will be our only dining table. I am looking for a table that seats 6 but has a leaf to expand to 8. I would like a rustic table top, something that will withstand daily use. I'm really hoping this could be the last table I buy. I want it to last.

I have found this table at Ethan Allen. The Miller "rustic" table.

link- Ethan Allen Miller Table in small The top has to be that color but I was going do the bottom in a gray/brown.

With these chairs that will match the bottom of the table in the gray/brown. (color is not on website.)

However, I have read some terrible reviews on EA lately. Quality is just not as good as it once was. Where else should I look for a good dining room table and chairs. I don't want a formal look but do want something I could dress up with a table cloth.

The table is $1500 (on sale) and I am good with that price but really don't want to spend more. The chairs are costly. EA chairs but I really like them. I would do 4 wooden chairs and the hostess chairs would be arm chairs with fabric seat.

FINALLY- this is our dining room chandy. I <3 it!!!!!! Makes me swoon. How would it look with a table like this? Is the top too rustic for a chandy this flashy?

Basically, do you think this is a good combo for nearly $4K (gulp.) Could I do better?

I have stated before, I am a very insecure decorator. I second guess everything. This is a lot of money, I want to feel good about my decision.

Thanks for any and all input!!!!
